This is such a cute black poly swimsuit from DeWeese. The front is appliqued with a colorful school of small fish and plant life. The front has a modesty panel similar to those seen in 1950s/1960s suits, double buttoned shoulder straps, soft padding at the shelf bust lining and elasticized leg openings. The top of the front bust area is also softly elasticised giving a nice form fit. Bust and gusset are lined. 100% Polyester, made in the USA. Swimsuit is in excellent condition.
We believe this label/swimsuit to be from the 1980s as a re-release of an earlier 1960s design from DeWeese. Note the earlier labels have DeWeese Design, but this font is from the 60's. Also the color of the label is embroidered teal, not brown like her earlier pieces.
