Vintage 50's Alfred Shaheen Blue & White Island Print Cotton Playsuit Swimsuit, labeled a size 16. Very nice detail work on this suit. Vented fold over bust, center bust has gathering while the sides of the bodice are completely elastic smocked. Pocket at each hip. The suit is lined with white cotton and the leg openings of the liner are elasticized. Back metal zipper closure. The shoulder straps have a back button adjustment and can be worn halter style. There is some minor soiling on the shoulder straps and on the inside lining under the bust line which may respond to cleaning. Sweet Hawaiian Island print with the Island named and 50th state called out. Label reads Alfred Shaheen, Honolulu.
