What a fine example of early Jantzen. This piece dates to the mid 40's. Wonderful 2 piece ocean blue wool knit swim suit bikini. Bottoms have a modesty panel on the front with a waist tie that threads through the waistband. Top has a back tie strap with a halter neckline. Tag in top reads wool, Jantzen Knitting Mills, Portland. Tag in bottoms reads Jantzen. No size label remains. The suit has had a couple of spots that have been repaired, in excellent condition. This fits snugly on our mannequin and she measures 34-24-35.
