Vintage 1940s Red Jantzen Two Piece Swimsuit Bikini. The fabric on this suit is sturdy and has a ribbed texture. The top of the bikini is a halter style with an adjustable metal slide on the back. The is no lining or padding on this suit. Will fit a small bust from 28-32" max. The bottoms have an adjustable inner waist tie, modesty panel front and boy cut leg openings. The Jantzen red diving girl is present at the left hip which dates this piece to the late 40s. There are no labels in this piece. Fabric has some two way stretch. Nice bright red, fabric feels like a cotton with some blend to give some slight 'give' or stretch but not much. A few small pin spots on back of bottoms, otherwise in excellent condition. This piece is not faded at all and doesn't appear to have been worn much if at all.
