Early 1900's Edwardian Black Cotton Swimsuit Bathing Suit. Swimsuit is in two pieces. Swimsuit consists of bloomers with an overdress top. Ecru piping at the neckline and runs down the front packet. The front has a single snap at the bust with three working buttons, the remainder of the placket is stitched closed. No collar per se. Short cap sleeves on the bodice with two cap sleeves also have piping. The bloomers have a side button closing with a pleated waistband in front and back. The leg openings are gathered in a casing with no stretch. There is an eraser sized hole at the neckline with two smaller pinholes beside it and a slight discoloration to the piping beside the hole. Otherwise in excellent condition for it's age. No labels. The bathing suit is shown belted with a ribbon but no belt is included in the listing.
