Vintage 40's Black Nylon Taffeta Reel Poise by Bestlyne Co. Strapless Swimsuit Bathing Suit 12 B32. Gorgeous black nylon taffeta swimsuit has a shirred V insert between the bust, fitted bodice with a v shaped waistline drop and multiple rows of elasticized shirring throughout the bottom on front and back. Elasticized leg openings with a back metal zipper closure. There is evidence that there were shoulder straps at some point but they have been taken off. Bust has side stays. The front bodice and gusset are lined. There is some fraying to the seam edges on the inside, otherwise in excellent condition. Fabric does not stretch but the elastic shirring gives the suit the fit.
