Vintage 1940's Kerrybrooke Swimsuit bathing suit, sz 38. Sweet suit has an interlocking twist bustline of light blue shiny satin stretch fabric, perhaps rayon or a lastex blend. Bodice of suit has an ivory panel with floral spray print in shades of yellow, orange, lavender, and brown. The back of the suit is of the same fabric and color of the bust. Elastic casings in boy cut leg openings. The shoulder straps cross in back and attach at each side with a single button. Back metal zipper closure with single button at top of zipper. Condition: There is some discoloration on the back by the zipper and center seam. Slight fade to the gentle fabric folds of twist bust. Feels like 1/8 inch of fabric has been taken in at one gusset seam. Otherwise suit is in good condition for its age. Front panel shows a bit wide on my small mannequin. Body Measurements:
